Hariette - League of Legends character fan concept

The initial idea was to create a new Vastaya character based on deer-like appearance. I explored the body types and opportunities for the new race. The bulky type of brave female warrior fighting with her massive horns seemed interesting to develop.

In the meantime I was looking for different use of race's antlers. From the source of magic to the strong weapon on the battlefield.

During the sketch phase I explored new interesting outfit options and abandon the concept of a warrior.

To clearly understand the character I want to create I had to think more about her skillset and mechanics. I've come to an idea of a very mobile specialist that can adjust her role during the play time.

Deer-like character was too simillar to existing Kindred. My first though about mobile animal was hare. They are quick, lively and relatively small so they can rely on their agility and flair.

I also wanted to use some of initial ideas so I reminded myself of the jackalopes - hares with antlers that appeared in american folkore. I used this idea to keep the antlers as a source of character's Vastayan magic.
